Server logs maintained by the hosting provider (Vercel) may include IP addresses for security and abuse prevention, retained under Vercel’s own retention policy.
Third-Party Services
- Vercel — hosting, serverless functions, edge caching, and anonymous analytics
- Google Fonts — font delivery; requests go to fonts.googleapis.com and may expose your IP address to Google
- api.github.com — the homepage fetches public repository statistics server-side; visitors’ browsers do not talk to GitHub directly except when you click external links
- Bing / IndexNow — after publishing new posts, URLs are submitted to IndexNow endpoints for search indexing; this involves no visitor data
AI Crawlers
AI search crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, OAI-SearchBot, Applebot-Extended, and others) are explicitly allowed to index publicly readable pages, per robots.txt.
